If I can make this fine motor skills board, you can too.
I took about an 18″ 2×4 and hammered in ten #8 finishing nails [the ones with a very small head].
Adjacent to each nail I drilled 10 small holes, just big enough to slip a golf tee into.
Be careful to make the holes big enough for the tee, but not too big where the tees are wobbly when you put them in the hole.
Your child will be able to put the tees in and out of the holes. Also they can place things on top of the tees like marbles, pom pom balls, beads or ping pong balls. On the nails they can guide beads, spools, straws, or any objects with a hole, onto the nail.
Use your imagination on the items you use for the board. You could even use rubber bands from nail to nail.
