I bought a drawer organizer at Dollar Tree for $1.00.I used a permanent marker to write letters around the outside of the organizer.
I also made one using three colors of markers and made an ABC pattern as I wrote the letters.
I also bought a package of $1.00 clothespins.
I took the clothespins and put a letter on the alphabet on each one. I wrote it on each side of clothespin so it didn’t matter which side they picked up. On the ABC pattern one I made sure the letter on the clothespin was the same color as the letter on the container.
This was great for letter recognition/identification, self-esteem, visual discrimination, fine motor, letter sounds, etc.
