Weaving is a great fine motor activity for preschoolers, and a nice alternative the tweezers/pinchers or pen-to-paper activities! It exercises those little finger muscles and builds coordination that’s needed for writing.

It’s an art medium that is drastically different from the paint, markers, and playdough so the novelty appeals to kids. Plus, it’s portable, quiet and it isn’t messy!
