It’s the Olympics! I love the Olympics. The competitiveness, the strength, and athletes achieving their dreams. It’s really amazing to see what they can do!
The boys had a little race with fabric scraps and straws, which gave us a chance to discuss the meaning of words behind winning and losing.
It seems that there’s Olympic crafts and activities for the kids to do of all sorts! I’m sharing just a few crafts I found on It’s Playtime last week! They’re a great way to introduce what the Olympics are to your kids!
(above, clockwise from top-left)
- Create an Olympic Torch like JDanielFour’s Mom made.
- These toilet tube Olympic rings along with two other Olympic Crafts are found on The Iowa Farmer’s Wife.
- These Olympic rings are focused more on the art process, from Chalkboard to Strollers.
- I love that Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas added the American flag in the Olympic symbols in their art!
What’s your favorite event to watch on the Olympics?
