I love a good round up of activities, art or crafts.
A place where I can find a lot of play resources in one spot and go from there.
[This also often introduces me to new blogs that I've never seen.]
I do a round up each month on the topic I find most compelling to me at the time.
Just recently, I did a Beat the Heat roundup of 38 activities to keep cool with water and ice.
Here’s a round up of my round up resource posts:
- 38 Ways to Beat the Heat
- 11 Preschooler Cleanups
- 30+ Dirty Kid Activities
- 30 Ways to Play with Balloons
- Traveling Activities
- 30 Moves for Excess Energy
- Two Baker’s Dozen Decorated Eggs
I’m not the only one doing round ups of all kinds of play around here either. Last week I found a few posts full of these play resources on It’s Playtime:
- 10 Cupcake Liner Crafts at Domestic Goddesque
- 8 Summer Activities at The Humbled Homemaker
- 5 Water Balloon Games at Local Fun For Kids
- 6 Early Math Activities at Quirky Momma
- 10 Reasons to Let Kids Play in Mud at Let the Children Play
- 5-a-day Books at The Imagination Tree
- Do Something! DIY Fun & Learning Toys at Messy Kids
High Five to these play friends!

Thanks for a great link-up!
Thank you for featuring my Water Balloon post.
: )
It's raining here today, but it looks like a many states are still over 100 degrees, so they need all the cool activities they can get!
It's finally cooling off here today. We've been spending a lot of time at our local pool!
Love this linky!
Thanks so much for featuring my cupcake liner post: I'm delighted that it's been useful!!
I can not figure out how to get your "It's Playtime" button on my blog without it being very very large. Your button code isn't standard because the button image is actually very large (410×410) and you are then resizing it down to 125×125 in the code. If you can give me the url to an actual 125×125 button, I would be happy to post it on my page. I hope this makes sense. (You can email me at totschool @ shannons . org)
