This is a sample of activities I use in the kids activities planner for the week.

In each week for the activities planners, I try to include:
- a gross motor activity
- a fine motor activity
- a craft
- an art project
- an outdoor activity
- an experiment or something to get them thinking
- a family activity for Sunday
Monday: Spy game scavenger hunt
What’s needed:
- Painter’s tape or crepe paper and tape
- A hallway
- pom poms or other small item that’s light [cotton balls would work]

Tuesday: Magical notes for learning letters [or anything else]
What’s needed:
- paper
- white crayon
- food coloring and water or watercolors
- paintbrush

Wednesday: Make a boat!
What’s needed:
- empty juice box
- scrap piece of colored paper
- Scotch tape
- scissors
- Water to float the boat
- Container for water

Thursday: Keep kids busy with a rubber band activity
What’s needed:
- a canned food from the pantry
- rubber bands

Friday: Make a homemade balance beam outside
