This is a sample of activities I use in the kids activities planner for the week.

In each week for the activities planners, I try to include:
- a gross motor activity
- a fine motor activity
- a craft
- an art project
- an outdoor activity
- an experiment or something to get them thinking
- a family activity for Sunday
Monday: Weave something
What’s needed:
- Ribbon or string
- Something to weave, could be a railing, baby gate, basket, clothes basket, cooling rack

Tuesday: Make a contact paper collage
What’s needed:
- contact paper
- scraps of tissue paper, ribbon, paper, wrapping paper, etc
- scissors

Wednesday: Make a rainbow, in one swipe of a sponge!
What’s needed:
- paint in the colors of the rainbow
- large sponge
- paper
- tray for paint

Thursday: Lines of Tape
What’s needed:
- open floor area, carpet, wood, tile
- Painter’s tape [Only use painter’s tape on wood floor, and still test before using]

Friday: Make a big maze, outside!
What’s needed:
- homemade chalk paint, or just sidewalk chalk
- open space on the driveway or sidewalk

- baking soda
- vinegar
- food coloring
- eye droppers, spoons or turkey baster
- baking sheet or other tray
