Miss Allison Art talks about balance bikes with just about anyone who will listen. BEST. INVENTION. EVER. Most kids’ bikes come standard with a set of training wheels, but… there IS an easier way.
The trickiest part of learning to ride isn’t the pedaling; it’s the balancing. That’s where balance bikes excel. They don’t have any pedals.

Hey, that is great! i am from germany and in europe the balance bikes are normal to have for EVERY kid, there are just a few people left that still do training wheels, so much negative about it. Kids don’t learn the balance, they ride crooked, accidents with broken of training wheels happen often too. My boy is just not a rider :) he had his balance bike before he turned two, he never liked it, also just here and there rides his scooter, no little push car….i wonder when he will ever be interested in riding anything, most kids i know in germany/austria/switzerland, know how to ride a real bike between 3 and 4, some even earlier.
