The 'Goldbug' book is currently the favorite in our house too. We love, love, love that book. I know what your saying about the Berenstein Bears. They were my favorite growing up, but I just read Bear Scouts to my son and was disappointed with how they portrayed Papa Bear as basically incompetent and arrogant. I realize it probably isn't a big deal, but it would really pain me for my son to think of his Daddy that way.
I think my sons would LOVE Cars and Trucks and Things that Go, but I have to admit that I really, really don't like Berenstain Bears!
Oh, Cars and Trucks and Things That Go were my daughter's absolute favorite when she was about 2. She is 4 now and still loves everything by Richard Scarry. Thanks for joining WMCIR!
