Welcome to The Heart Project!

The Heart Project is a collaborative project to raise funds for the American Heart Association (AHA) and to support my husband’s cousin, Ellie (read about her story).

70+ bloggers have collaborated together to bring you a beautiful book of heart projects! The book includes 100+ projects in it that are heart-related and kid-related. Whether they’re made by the kids, for the kids or about the kids. There’s projects to create, cook, play with and display in your home!

By making a donation to the AHA, you will receive this amazing collection of photographed heart projects from bloggers all over the world! We hope you will join all of us in our efforts to raise $1000 $2,000 by Valentine’s Day for the AHA!

(The eBook has links of almost all of the heart projects to a tutorial on the blog that contributed it to the book! There is a collective index in the back as well for those that are purchasing the printed version to check out each of the blogs in the book.)

What a lovely project you've pulled together. I grabbed a photo of that adorable Ellie Jo pin on The Parent Watercooler board on Pinterest:

I really hope it goes viral and y'all meet your goal of being able to donate $1K. This eBook is very inspiring. Thank you for reminding me of all the good things people can do with their day, effort, blog, and love.

  2. Jennifer says

I've been unable to purchase (have tried several times yesterday and today). Is there something wrong with the shopping feature? It's not my card – I'm so excited to get this and it seems like a great cause!

  3. Jamie @ hands on : as we grow says

@Jennifer – credit cards aren't working right now on the ebook for some reason. I'm in the midst of getting it worked out. PayPal option works for the book. Sorry about that! I'll let you know when I do get the CC's working!

  4. Victoria ObSEUSSed says

You did a wonderful job compiling everything. I just downloaded the book and can't wait to try some crafts this week. I love that you are working with the AHA too. What a great organization and cause. I'm glad I found out about it all through the twitter party today. Thanks for hosting such a fun party!
