The kids and I have had a blast with Christmastime activities this year! I thought I’d place them all in one spot, along with some of my faves from last year!

Cutting snowflakes are great cutting practice for a preschooler and work their fine motor skills. 

Ever since I shared my favorite 30 homemade ornaments for kids, I’ve been eyeing those adorable yarn wrapped ornaments by The Crafty Crow!

Cloud dough is awesome! I can’t believe its taken me this long to make it with the boys!
If you have not made cloud dough yet, it’s a lot like the texture of brown sugar. Crumbly and loose, but can be compacted together

So its been a little snowy outside and Henry has yet to actually get out in it and PLAY. He’s been outside, but it’s usually to help Dad shovel the driveway. And he doesn’t last too long. He’s a smart boy –

Foam sheets can be so versatile. They can be cut down to any shape or size that you’d like to make whatever you like!

I did this activity a couple years ago at Christmas with Henry. I found it on No Time for Flash Cards.
I reused some scrap wrapping paper pieces and cut out a Christmas tree shape in four different wrapping paper patterns. I 

The boys are super excited for Christmas this year. So to keep their excitement contained and still keep them excited… we created one of the most timeless, old-fashioned, activity countdowns that there is… the paper chain.
