Below I’ve gone through and chosen the best products and supplies that I use, as well as the best places to find activities here on hands on : as we grow.

Products I recommend (and use!)
To find & create amazing activities:
These are the products I have used that help me plan activities. They give me ideas, help me organize my ideas and just make life easier.
- Weekly Activities Planner – FREE
- Weekly Activity Plans for ages 1 to 5 – Save 25% off any activity plan bundle using coupon code “resource25”
- The Activity Room – activity planning and encouragement service
- The Toddler’s Busy Book
- Craft Supplies I recommend
To capture activities:
Even as a mom I use these products. I bought my first DSLR before George was born, which was pre-blog days. The photos I get from it have been stellar compared to anything I’ve ever gotten on a point and shoot. I highly recommend these products.
- My first DSLR: Canon Rebel T1i
- My current DSLR: Canon 70D DSLR
- Canon 50mm 1.8 lens – This lens comes highly recommended for beginners. It gives you that lovely focus on the subject with it out of focus in the background. Its hard to go wrong with this lens!
- Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 lens – I upgraded to this zoom lens when I realized I needed to get back further for photos when I was stuck indoors and didn’t have a lot of room to physically stand back any further.
- Photoshop PSE
