Henry started preschool last Thursday.
You’re inviteD to a Party!
[HOSTED BY MYSELF ANd Chatsworth hills academy]
When: This Thursday, August 25, 7-9pm PST
What: Chatting and asking questions about preschool readiness, as many of our preschoolers are just about to have that very first day of school [ever!] or will be in the next couple of years.
A few of the topics to be covered:
Ask Questions: Please message @CHAChatsworth on Twitter or on their Facebook Page prior to the party of any specific questions you want to make sure are answered during the party. During the party, you can still ask your questions, just include @CHAChatsworth and #preschoolready in your tweet!
Where: Twitter! Use hashtag #preschoolready to follow and be part of the chat. Append all your tweets with #preschoolready to make sure your questions, answers and comments get heard. [Be sure to follow @CHAChatsworth and @handsonaswegrow].
I set up a custom tweet grid to follow #preschoolready (it also automatically appends your tweets with the hashtag).
Who: You! And anyone interested in talking about preschool readiness [parents, teachers, caregivers, etc.].
Why: Choosing a school is a big choice for parents. Knowing how to prepare your child for preschool is probably even harder. Get the information you need to know directly from the sources: Ann Gillinger is the Head of School at Chatsworth Hills Academy and Paulette Collins is the Director of Early Childhood there as well.
Prizes: They’re also giving away prizes throughout the chat! With the grand prize being a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com.
RSVP: Join the party by using #preschoolready. No need to RSVP to it, but you can ‘attend’ the Facebook event so you get a reminder: Is Your Child #PreschoolReady?
