After voting in the White Cloud Tissue Box Designs (through their Voting App) for the Children’s Miracle Network, I was so inspired to make our own tissue box designs!
Henry wasn’t too excited about it until I showed him it was going to be wrapped around the tissue box. And then he got super excited and decided that his design should get to go in his room in case he needs a tissue!
And I absolutely love his drawing. Henry drew the entire family. Starting with Louis, the baby.
He gave everyone a specific color, except for me. I got all kinds of colors!
I rarely get to see Henry draw like this so this was a treat for me. Usually I get to see what he brings home from preschool, but I don’t actually get to see him in action. He explained it all as he was drawing each person.
He started with eyes. Then eyebrows, forehead (yes, the line is a forehead), hair, a ‘face’ (mouth), then a big belly, and legs. Nobody got arms though!
To make it fit a tissue box. I simply cut a piece of butcher paper (or art paper) the same height as the tissue box. My paper happened to just fit lengthwise around it.
Then I let the boys get creative.
They each did two versions of their tissue box designs.
Above, they did markers and crayons, and then another with stickers and crayons. Henry took all the ‘good’ stickers from George and made it all trains. George got stuck with snowflakes. He wasn’t too happy about that.
Pretty cool design for tissue boxes, I’d say!
But not nearly as cool as the ones I’ve been voting for on White Cloud on Facebook.
Together, We Can Make Miracles.
White Cloud and Children’s Miracle Network have asked kids in their hospitals to get creative and design the new tissue boxes. The White Cloud Facebook page shows the 10 finalists that you can vote for!
I voted for:
But I’m going back to vote for other’s each day because I really, really cannot decide!
Thankfully, three designs will be chosen to be printed on the special edition White Cloud Tissue boxes. White Cloud will also make a generous donation to each of the kids’ Children’s Miracle Network hospitals that created the winning designs.

what great designs – love the family portrait! It’s wonderful to see how they change as they get older. It’s so cute that you were so colorful – must be meaningful in some way.
