We had a lot of fun going on a hunt for toys in the colors of the rainbow.
Henry knows the colors at time, usually he needs a little bit of reminding though.
The rainbow sponge art had a lot of repetitiveness with applying the colors over and over, so that was a great way for him to learn them.
Whether he knows the colors of the rainbow or not, they’re still so much fun to make. No matter how they’re made, they’re so pretty!
And who knew that rainbows could be done in such a variety of activities! Rainbows that help with fine motor skills, rainbows that settle your appetite, rainbow art of course, and even in the sensory bin! The play dates of It’s Playtime, really know how to make some rainbows!
Above, clockwise from top-left:
- A collage in the colors of the rainbow! A great fine motor activity from Happy Hooligans.
- Yum! This has been on my to-do list since last year I think. I gotta make these rainbow waffles for the boys! Little Happies even finished it off with cool whip clouds!
- Make, Do & Friend brings color to the sensory tub with some rainbow goop!
- Mama Mia’s Heart 2 Heart got a handful of rainbows, or made made a rainbow with their hands! By painting the sides of their hands every color of the rainbow! So colorful and fun to do!
