I’m joining the 2011 Ultimate Blog Party

Have you joined?
I have.
What’s hands on : as we grow all about anyway?
This little home on the web is a blog for me. I just happen to like to share it with you, a lot. I started this blog as a way to make myself be a more hands on mom to my boys, Henry and George (though George is a little too little to be involved in our activities). My very first post at the end of 2010 tells a little bit about my reason for getting started.
What will you be reading about?
My 3 year old son, Henry. He’s a very energetic boy, so we do lots of activities that keep him busy (and burn off some of that preschooler energy!)

Every week, you can expect to read about a couple of activities and a craft that I do with Henry. Once a week I try to include some type of rambling post – whether it be an overheard conversation Henry had, or just some Toddler Talk by me. On Fridays, I do a weekly bookmarking of five of my favorite posts/ideas from the week called High Five!. And lastly, on Sunday (this is more for me, then for you), I post my week in pictures. I decided to take part in the Photo Project 365 of taking a picture a day for the entire year – this is where I recap it.
New this month (April 2011) : I’m joining in a Can You Come Outside to Play Challenge to get outside every day for at least 30 minutes. I’ll be posting lots of pictures of our adventures outside along with the activities we find to do out there! Maybe some crafting too, who knows.
Please browse around!

    Stopping by from the UBP.

What a great idea of getting outside at least 30 minutes a day. That can be challenging here in northern North Dakota in the winter, but I'll try now that the weather is warming up. :)
