There's a reason we created The Activity Room and Hands On As We Grow, we know parents like you are looking for simple fun to do with your kids! That's what we're known for!
We have a ton of simple crafts for kids of all ages that we have shared over the years listed below to boost your child's creativity (and yours! I promise, once you start, the creative juices flow!)
Simple is best. Yes. But even better is using the most common crafting supplies and things around your house.
Our craft ideas use things like paper plates, beads, glitter (totally optional), pipe cleaners, and even toys from around the house. The most basic craft supplies. And we encourage you to find something you already have to use if you don't have something.
In many crafting projects, young kids get to sneak in fine motor skills with threading, gluing and cutting. So while a craft may be about the end product to have as a DIY decor item, remember the process of what they're doing as they create the craft.
